Daniela. 22. My life consists of saving for 2013 overseas adventures and not much else at the moment. I'll be leaving in May and travelling to Japan ✈ Italy and ✈ the UK where I'll be relocating for an unknown amount of time. I don't intend on living out another mundane year like my last.

  1. My life has become one postcard after another. (at Portovenere)
  2. Goodbye roman villa. Stay beautiful.
  3. Just another beautiful day in Roma.
  4. 50 000 people in one free entertainment venue. Now our idea of entertainment is seeing movies like Iron Man 3. Progress.
  5. Took a morning stroll back to 80 AD.
  6. This accommodation gets the ‘Dani tick of approval’. Another pinnacle travel moment. (at Via Del Colosseo)
  7. My favourite Japan buy: a set of Yojiya make-up brushes sold exclusively in Kyoto. I am too afraid to start using them.
  8. Spoiler alert: The last page of Haruki Murakami’s new book. To add to my current collection. I think I’m turning Japanese, I really think so. (at 幡ヶ谷)
  9. The reason Japanese people are so tiny is because chocolate comes by the piece. Kawaii.
  10. The start of the most meticulously presented and delicious meal yet. (at ギオンコーナー(Gion Corner))
  11. My travel diary reads like it’s written by an 8 year old. “And then we did this, and then we did this, and then I think we did this…” Etc and so on. (at 京都・東山 Kyoto Higashiyama)
  12. A wonderful experience to be feeding wild Japanese monkeys inside a cage of our own. Completely opposite to the awful experience I had at Uneo Zoo last week. Animals shouldn’t be caged in hot, small spaces for our own entertainment. (at 嵐山モンキーパーク (Iwatayama Monkey Park))
  13. Just moved into our traditional Machiya townhouse. My accommodation choices are really on point.
  14. Lost on a train somewhere in the mountains of Kyoto. Nothing else to do but put my stalking skills to the test.
  15. Tonight I’m sleeping in a capsule and it’s probably a lot bigger than some of the places I’ve slept. This is a top ten moment in my life. (at 9h nine hours 京都寺町‎)
